PRESCRIPTION UPDATE:

When putting a paper slip into the surgery, you must ensure that all items you wish to order are ticked clearly, Any that are not ticked, or not clearly marked will not be issued we will be having a grace period of this to make sure this is weened in efficiently,

Repeat Prescriptions

Please do not make an appointment with a doctor for repeat prescriptions and allow sufficient time to order your prescription before your current medication runs out, especially on Public or Bank Holidays.

Please allow a minimum of 2 working days from when you request your prescription (Online or in person)
(For example, If you put it in on Tuesday at 12PM, Please allow till Thursday at 12PM Before you query where it is)

Prescriptions are not taken over the telephone; bring your repeat slip to the surgery or order through your local pharmacy (if pharm managed) or through the online services via the link at the top of this page.

Your script will normally be ready within 24 hours. If your request needs to be authorised by the doctor it will take longer.

Electronic Prescription Services

If you are a newly registering patient you will be asked to nominate of a pharmacy of your choice to have your prescriptions sent to. Our existing patients can at any point nominate their chosen pharmacy.

Newly registering patients will automatically be signed up for this service.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
